Toddler Program:

Our toddler classroom offers a small group Montessori experience to children aged 15 months - 3 years, with a 1 to 5 adult/child ratio. The program will be offered 9 AM - 12 noon, Monday through Friday, with the option of choosing a 3 or 5 day program. The environment is carefully prepared to meet the young child's special needs in a peaceful, loving and secure space. Please call for more information including daily schedule and tuition rates. All Day Montessori is available from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

Preschool:

Ages 3 years (fully toilet trained) through 6 years, 9 AM - 12 noon, Monday through Friday. The children are in multiage groups with children aged 3 to 6 in each classroom. Each child works at their own level. All Day Montessori is available from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

The Extended Day (Kindergarten):

For children who are 5 years old. Hours are Monday through Thursday 9 AM until 3 PM; 9 AM - 12 noon Friday. During the afternoons the children work as a group without the younger preschoolers on more academically challenging and abstract material. There is an emphasis on developing social/emotional skills in readiness for the elementary program. Peer influences and the ideas of fairness and appropriate behavior are all addressed. All Day Montessori is available from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

Elementary:

For children 6 through 14 years old (1st - 8th grade). The curriculum for Montessori Elementary is based on the idea of cosmic education where all things are interconnected to each other. This is illustrated in Montessori Elementary in five long term lessons which Maria Montessori termed the Great Lessons. These Lessons (Fable of Creation, Time Line of Life, Time Line of Humans, History of Writing and History of Mathematics) give the child a glimpse of fascinating ideas and encourage him/her to explore these ideas. The subject areas that are explored along with the Great Lessons are language, geography, history, zoology, botany, mathematics and geometry. All Day Montessori is available from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

All Day Montessori (Before and After Care):

Available before and after school from 7:30AM-5:30PM, except for national holidays.

Summer Program:

Begins on the first Monday following the completion of the school year. Hours are from 7:30AM until 5:30PM, Monday through Friday, except for national holidays. Each week has a different theme, including many field trips.
